This notice explains the categories of personal information Hearth may receive through its website and web forms, why that information is used, and the choices available under applicable law. Engagement-specific tax and accounting data is also subject to the controls and agreements governing the professional engagement.

Website and inquiry information

This notice applies to personal information handled through Hearth's public website, calculators, inquiry forms, and related website interactions. Information handled as part of a client or partner engagement may also be governed by engagement documents, professional obligations, and the controls described on the Security & Data Use page.

Information may come from you, your use of the site, or a business relationship

  • Information you provide: name, business contact details, firm information, form responses, messages, and information you choose to submit through a calculator or inquiry flow.
  • Website and device information: browser/device information, IP address, pages visited, referral or attribution information, consent preferences, and similar technical data when the applicable site tools are enabled.
  • Relationship information: information needed to route a prospect, partner, or client to the appropriate Hearth capability or professional workflow.
Do not send tax returns or source documents through a general website form.Where protected professional information is needed, Hearth uses the applicable controlled professional workflow rather than treating the public website as a document portal.

Why Hearth uses website information

  • Respond to requests and route the inquiry to the right capability or team.
  • Provide calculators, requested resources, and website functionality.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site.
  • Measure site or campaign performance where the applicable analytics or attribution tools are enabled and permitted.
  • Maintain records, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable legal or professional requirements.
04 · Service providers

Some functions depend on other service providers

Hearth may use providers for hosting, forms and CRM, communications, analytics or attribution, scheduling, authentication, payment processing, security, and other operational functions. The production data map must confirm which provider categories and data flows actually apply before publication.
