The website explains Hearth. Signed agreements govern the actual engagement
These terms govern use of Hearth's public website, calculators, resources, and online materials. When a firm, client, or partner enters a separate written agreement, that agreement governs the services and relationship it covers.
Use the site for legitimate business and informational purposes
Hearth publishes information for accounting firms, business owners, partners, and other visitors evaluating Hearth's capabilities. Access to a page or resource does not by itself create a client, professional, referral, partnership, or advisory relationship.
The public site is informational
Website content does not provide individualized legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice or create a professional relationship by itself. See the Professional Disclosures for the role and responsibility framework.
Read Professional Disclosures →Calculator outputs are planning estimates
Public calculators depend on entered facts and modeled assumptions and do not replace client-specific professional review. See the Professional Disclosures and the relevant tool page for the applicable limitations.
Read Professional Disclosures →Examples and historical outcomes are not guarantees
Historical cases, measured outcomes, samples, and illustrations do not promise that another firm or client will receive the same result. See Professional Disclosures and Evidence & Proof for the governing presentation framework.
Signed engagement documents control the relationship they cover
Website descriptions do not replace a signed service agreement, partner agreement, referral agreement, professional engagement letter, statement of work, warranty terms, or other written commitment. If website copy conflicts with a controlling signed agreement, the signed agreement governs to the extent it covers the same subject.
Public access is not a transfer of ownership
Hearth's website content, product names, reports, templates, methodology materials, software interfaces, and other protected materials may be subject to intellectual-property rights. Public materials may be viewed and used for their intended informational purpose; broader copying, resale, republication, reverse engineering, or commercial exploitation may be restricted.
Do not misuse the site or its tools
Visitors may not interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, use automated access in a manner that disrupts the service, impersonate another person or firm, or use the site in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
Some destinations and functions are operated by others
Hearth may link to regulatory sources, service providers, software systems, or other third-party destinations. Their availability, content, and privacy practices are governed by those third parties rather than by Hearth's website terms.
The site and its tools may change
Hearth may update website content, tools, availability, routing, and public materials as products and requirements change. A public page is not a promise that a particular feature, price, integration, or offer will remain available indefinitely unless a controlling agreement says otherwise.
